Bitwise Donates $100,000 to Support Open-Source Developers at "Ethereum"
Svmuu News: Bitwise Asset Management has announced its second annual donation of $100,000 to open-source developers at Ethereum. This donation is part of Bitwise’s commitment to donate 10% of the gross profits from the Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW) annually to the Ethereum open-source developer program.The funds will be allocated to two non-profit organizations, Protocol Guild and the PBS Foundation, to support the research and development of the Ethereum protocol, as well as the development and maintenance of open-source infrastructure.Hong Kim, co-founder and CTO of Bitwise, stated that open-source developers and researchers are critical to the Ethereum network infrastructure, and that Bitwise has sought to support these builders alongside the growth of the crypto industry since launching ETHW. Since its launch in July 2024, ETHW has attracted $361 million in cumulative inflows.Bitwise currently manages over $15 billion in client assets and offers more than 40 crypto investment products. Previous news: Bitwise donated $233,000 to open-source developers on Bitcoin, marking its second round of annual donations.
