GMX Responds to Questions About MegaETH's Launch Timeline: Contracts Have Been Deployed, Official Launch Date to Be Determined
Svmuu News: In response to community concerns regarding the slow progress of MegaETH’s launch, GMX issued a statement noting that since the MegaETH mainnet went live in the second week of February, the ecosystem has still been in the early stages of development. with the current on-chain TVL remaining relatively limited and most protocols still in the testing and optimization phases. GMX noted that its smart contracts have been deployed to the chain, and the team is advancing several preparatory tasks, including ensuring initial liquidity is in place, refining the liquidity provider (LP) incentive design for the GLV [USDM-USDM] vault, optimizing the trading user experience, and collaborating with DeFi protocols built on MegaETH to leverage the benefits of composability. However, an official launch date has not yet been determined, and the launch is expected to follow shortly after MegaETH announces its next-phase ecosystem roadmap.
