Starknet will launch the STRK20 framework, which supports the issuance of privacy-preserving stablecoins and privacy-preserving DeFi assets
Svmuu News Ethereum The Layer 2 network Starknet has announced the launch of the new STRK20 framework, designed to support the issuance of privacy-preserving stablecoins and other privacy-preserving assets while addressing compliance requirements. Developed by StarkWare, the framework is expected to go live on Starknet later this year.Reportedly, the STRK20 framework is designed to provide token-level privacy for assets on Starknet, keeping transaction amounts and account balances confidential while remaining compatible with decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. It is also expected to be compatible with the ERC-20 asset standard, allowing most Ethereum fungible tokens to leverage this privacy capability and support use cases such as private DeFi.
