More Than 20 DeFi Programs Join Initiative to Promote Crypto Education in the Core Curriculum of U.S. Colleges and Universities
Svmuu - More than 20 DeFi projects have joined forces to release an open letter calling on major U.S. colleges and universities to incorporate DeFi and cryptocurrency education into the core curricula of business and law schools. The action is framed by the 1inch-led "1inch Forward" campaign, which includes the Blockchain Association, DeFi Education Fund, The Solana Policy Institute, Aave Labs and Dune. The open letter proposes that colleges and universities incorporate courses on blockchain architecture and decentralized technology into their core curriculum and teach students about DeFi mechanisms such as automated market makers (AMMs), as well as provide hands-on opportunities to participate in real DeFi systems. Participating programs have indicated that they are willing to assist in designing course content and provide internship and fellowship program opportunities. (The Block)
