According to a report by the Korea Economic Daily, SK Hynix plans to issue new shares for a US listing of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), with an issuance scale of approximately 2.4% of its total share capital. The raised funds will primarily be used to expand High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) production capacity and advance the construction of the Yongin Semiconductor Cluster, aiming to solidify its leading position in the global AI semiconductor market. SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won had previously publicly stated at the NVIDIA GTC 2026 Developer Conference that the ADR listing plan is being advanced.
