Pumpfun Co-founder: Platform Updates Fee Mechanism to Reduce Manipulation
Svmuu News Pumpfun co-founder alon posted on the X platform, stating that the platform has updated its token fee mechanism to reduce manipulation. Under the new rules, each token defaults to a standard creator fee. Creators have only one opportunity to redirect the fee to another address, after which it will be permanently locked unless adjusted through a CTO process. Previously, creators could change the fee allocation multiple times, which had led to manipulation and user dissatisfaction. The update also applies to existing tokens; tokens that have already set a fee allocation will be locked, while those that have not will retain one modification opportunity.
