Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant Attacked Three Times in 10 Days
Svmuu News Iranian media reported that Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant was attacked on the night of March 27. No damage to the plant has been found so far, and there are no reports of casualties. The report pointed out that the nuclear power plant is operational and stores a large amount of radioactive material. An attack on it could trigger a serious nuclear accident. Attacks by the United States and Israel on facilities for the peaceful use of nuclear energy violate international law and pose a serious security threat to the region. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) issued a statement late on the 27th, saying it had received notification from Iran that the Bushehr nuclear power plant was attacked again that day, marking the third attack on the plant within 10 days. The Iranian notification also stated that the operational reactor was not damaged and no radiation leakage occurred. The IAEA said its Director General, Rafael Grossi, called on all parties to exercise maximum military restraint to avoid the risk of a nuclear accident.
