Two more liquefied petroleum gas tankers bound for India have left the Persian Gulf via the Strait of Hormuz
Svmuu News Two more tankers carrying liquefied petroleum gas bound for India have left the Persian Gulf via the Strait of Hormuz. According to ship tracking data, the Indian-flagged tankers BW Tyr and BW Elm, fully loaded with LPG, were last shown passing the northern tip of the Omani Peninsula. Throughout the voyage, both vessels used transponders to signal their Indian ownership and Indian crew, which has become a standard safety measure. India heavily relies on LPG imports from the Persian Gulf and is currently facing a severe shortage of such fuel. (Jin10)
