This aircraft model is designed to deploy troops into hostile areas and conduct evacuations, equipped with air refueling capabilities and advanced sensors for defense against air defense interceptions, including heat-seeking systems. A U.S. official stated that during this rescue operation, the U.S. military destroyed two MC-130J aircraft. U.S. officials did not specify the reasons for the issues encountered by these aircraft. Senior Iranian officials released photos of at least one aircraft's burnt wreckage. Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf posted on social media, saying: "If the U.S. achieves three more such 'victories,' it will be completely destroyed."
