Iranian Media Announces Composition of Iranian Negotiation Delegation
Svmuu According to reports, the Iranian delegation negotiating with the United States that day consists of 71 members, including the main negotiation team, expert teams, media representatives, as well as protocol and security teams. The report stated that the Iranian delegation is led by Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. Delegation members also include Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati, and Secretary of the Defense Committee Ali Akbar Ahmadian. The report added that Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Director for Foreign Policy at the Supreme National Security Council Secretariat Ali Bagheri Kani, MP Seyed Mahmoud Nabavian, Speaker's Assistant for International Affairs Abolfazl Amouei, and Speaker's Strategic Advisor Mehdi Mohammadi are also part of the delegation. The report further stated that the U.S. delegation numbers 300 people, with a significant portion belonging to security, guard, and protocol teams. (Xinhua News Agency)
