Another cargo ship was attacked while attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz
Svmuu News On April 22 local time, maritime intelligence firm Vanguard stated that a cargo ship was attacked while attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, marking the third vessel attacked in the area that day. The Panama-flagged container ship "MSC Francesca" was struck in waters approximately 6 nautical miles off the coast of Iran as it exited the Strait of Hormuz and headed south into the Gulf of Oman. The vessel reported damage to its hull and accommodation areas. Earlier that day, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations office had issued reports of attacks on two ships in the same area.
