Svmuu News Citi released a report, stating that it expects SK Hynix (000660.KS) to benefit from a strong upward trend in the average selling price of bulk memory, as well as better-than-expected price growth for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) in the second half of 2026.
As the bank expects HBM pricing to increase by 30% quarter-on-quarter in the fourth quarter of 2026, it anticipates that SK Hynix will benefit from the HBM product mix effect and strong bulk memory pricing supported by Anthropic's recent updates (which have more than doubled the token limit). The bank raised its target price from 1.7 million won to 3.1 million won. It maintains a "Buy" rating. (Jin Shi)
