The contract is a $900 MU put option expiring on June 26, 2026, with a premium of $21.23 million, a trade volume of 7,311, an open interest of 3,909, and an out-of-the-money level of 13%. Notably, over 84% of the volume was executed at the ask price, indicating strong buying interest in the put options; the size of this position exceeds the existing open interest, suggesting a new bearish bet; the premium rose steadily throughout the trading session and closed near its high; This was one of the largest semiconductor put option trades in today’s market.
