Simmons, Chief Financial Officer of SkyWest (NASDAQ:SKYW), sold 25,000 shares of the company’s stock on July 29. The weighted average sale price for the transaction was $110.49 per share, for a total value of approximately $2.76 million. The sale represented 21% of Simmons’ direct holdings in the company; following the transaction, he continues to hold 93,902 shares directly, valued at approximately $10.2 million. Previously, SkyWest’s CEO also sold company stock. Meanwhile, SkyWest’s board of directors has authorized an additional $250 million in share repurchases.
