Merck posts better-than-expected Q2 revenue of $16.61 billion, raises 2026 forecast on Keytruda strength
The U.S. drugmaker's Q2 revenue rose 5% year-over-year to $16.61 billion, surpassing analysts' average estimate of $16.36 billion. Sales of its top-selling cancer treatment Keytruda increased 5% to $8.37 billion, also exceeding estimates. Merck raised its full-year 2026 revenue forecast to $66.3 billion-$67.3 billion, up from a previous range of $65.8 billion-$67.0 billion. The company reported a quarterly loss of 13 cents per share due to a $5.7 billion charge from its acquisition of Terns Pharmaceuticals.
