Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg explained to investors that the company sells and buys computing power simultaneously to monetize existing capacity in the short term while investing for the future, as he believes computing demand will not slow down anytime soon. Meta has raised the lower bound of its 2026 capital expenditure (capex) guidance range from $125 billion to $130 billion, with the upper bound potentially reaching $145 billion. The company is building 27 data centers across the United States.
