The iPhone maker's new court filing states that its continued investigation has revealed 11 other former Apple employees, beyond those initially named, may have been involved. Apple is also requesting expedited discovery from the accused OpenAI employees, OpenAI itself, and io, a device startup co-founded by Apple's former lead designer Jony Ive.
OpenAI publicly responded, stating that Apple's request for a preliminary injunction is "both based on false information and completely unnecessary because we do not have, nor want, any of their trade secrets." OpenAI also pointed to alleged earlier mistakes by Apple in the case.
