Singapore's central bank, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), stated in a written reply to a parliamentary question that there is currently no need for a centralised digital service to enable consumers to view and manage their active recurring payment authorisations across financial institutions and payment service providers. MAS noted that consumers can already manage such arrangements directly through the digital platforms of major retail banks and payment service providers. However, MAS will continue to monitor developments and review the need for further measures if circumstances change.
