Bitcoin holds near $64,000, Ether falls 2% on week, as global stocks hit new records and Brent crude drops on Strait of Hormuz deal prospects
Bitcoin (BTC) traded just above $64,000, showing little change on the day and remaining roughly flat over the past seven days. Ether (ETH) slipped to $1,864, down 2% on the week, making it the only major cryptocurrency in the red. Meanwhile, global equities, including the MSCI All Country World Index, continued to reach fresh records driven by renewed enthusiasm for AI-related stocks, with SK 海力士 (Hynix) rising 6.4% and 英伟达 (Nvidia) adding over 2% after hours. Brent crude fell 1.1% to approximately $78.50 a barrel following reports that Washington, Tehran和阿曼 (Oman) are close to an agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
