Polymarket has opened a market on the private valuations of OpenAI and Anthropic by the end of August, based on prices reported by Nasdaq Private Market. Market data shows that OpenAI's valuation market is relatively concentrated, with 54% of bets predicting its valuation to be between $800 billion and $900 billion, and another 23% predicting it to be between $900 billion and $1 trillion, which is largely consistent with OpenAI's valuation of $852 billion since March. In contrast, traders are more bullish on Anthropic's valuation growth, with a 65% probability that its valuation will reach $1.175 trillion by the end of the month, and a 67% probability that its valuation growth will surpass OpenAI. Anthropic was valued at $380 billion in February, and in May, it raised $65 billion at a valuation of $965 billion, surpassing OpenAI for the first time. Its annualized revenue increased from approximately $9 billion at the end of 2025 to over $44 billion in May, with about 80% coming from enterprise clients. Anthropic is expected to go public by the end of this year, while OpenAI's IPO may be delayed until 2027.
