Ukraine's military hit two major Russian oil refineries, including Slavneft-Yanos in Yaroslavl, in long-range drone attacks, causing fire and injuries
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the strikes on Thursday, stating they aim to limit Russia's oil revenues used to finance the war. The Slavneft-Yanos facility is one of Russia's biggest oil refineries, located hundreds of miles from the Ukraine border. The governor of the Yaroslavl region reported the area faced its largest-ever drone attack, with 93 drones destroyed, and falling debris hitting storage tanks, resulting in a fire and four injuries.
