Aya Gold & Silver has acquired a significant exploration portfolio in Morocco for MAD 10 million (approximately US$1.06 million) through a combination of cash and assumed debt. The portfolio comprises three mining permits and 18 exploration permits, totaling 259 square kilometers. This move aims to strengthen the company's existing presence in Morocco and support its exploration strategy, with a greater focus on precious, base, and critical metals. This acquisition increases Aya's land position in Morocco by 35.4%, from approximately 732 square kilometers to over 991 square kilometers by 2026.
