Magnolia Oil & Gas reported an 8% year-over-year increase in second-quarter production, reaching a record 106,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day. As a result, the company raised its full-year standalone production growth guidance for 2026 from 5% to approximately 6%. Additionally, Magnolia Oil & Gas generated $235 million in free cash flow during the quarter, returned $80 million to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases, and increased its quarterly dividend to $0.18 per share. The company also disclosed progress on its acquisition of WildFire Energy for approximately $4.06 billion, a transaction expected to close by the end of the third quarter, which will significantly expand its operational scale.
