China's National Bureau of Statistics released data showing that in July 2026, the national industrial producer ex-factory price (PPI) increased by 3.5% year-on-year, and decreased by 0.7% month-on-month. During the same period, industrial producer purchasing prices increased by 5.5% year-on-year, and decreased by 1.0% month-on-month. For the January-July average, industrial producer ex-factory prices increased by 1.8% compared to the same period last year, and industrial producer purchasing prices increased by 2.8%.
