Apple May Limit iPhone 18 Pro Price Hike, Despite TrendForce's Estimated 38% Soar in Component Costs
According to a TrendForce report, the component cost of the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to surge by 38%, with soaring memory prices being the main driver. Memory costs are projected to account for over 40% of the total component cost by early 2027, compared to just 10% a year ago. To protect demand, Apple may accept lower profit margins or increase the prices of older iPhone models to offset the additional costs.
