Bybit to increase TradFi perpetual contract maximum leverage to 25x, raise OI position limits to 30%, and expand limit order sizes
Bybit announced a series of parameter upgrades for its TradFi Perpetual Contracts, to be implemented in phases. Effective August 12, 2026, 07:30 UTC, the Open Interest (OI) position limit ratio for all TradFi contracts will increase from 20% to 30%. From August 13, 2026, 07:30 UTC, maximum leverage for certain TradFi contracts will be raised from 20x to 25x, and maximum position values at higher leverage tiers for 50x leverage contracts will be expanded. Additionally, the maximum single limit order size for all TradFi contracts will be increased, effective August 14, 2026, 07:30 UTC.
