Boeing is selling three of its subsidiaries—Wisk Aero, SkyGrid, and Insitu—to electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) startup Archer Aviation in exchange for an undisclosed equity stake in Archer. This move is aimed at allowing Boeing to focus more on its core business, while Archer strengthens its capabilities in eVTOL development, air traffic management systems, and military product portfolio through this acquisition.
