Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince stated that the internet is undergoing a fundamental rewrite for machine-to-machine traffic, driven by AI answer engines and agent-driven commerce. The company's traffic analytics show that as of June 2026, non-human internet traffic has surpassed human traffic for the first time, with 52% of crawler requests linked to AI training, up from 22% in spring 2025. Cloudflare's second-quarter revenue climbed 36% year over year to $696.1 million, and the company raised its full-year revenue outlook to between $2.864 billion and $2.87 billion.
