Sands Capital Technology Innovators Fund Adds Intel (INTC) to Portfolio, Citing Growing CPU Demand from AI Inference Workloads
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Sands Capital Technology Innovators Fund highlighted Intel Corporation (INTC) as a new holding. The fund believes that as AI workloads evolve towards inference, agentic workflows, and more complex data center architectures, CPUs are becoming increasingly important for scheduling, memory management, tool execution, and the orchestration of agentic workflows. This shift is expected to drive stronger CPU demand than previously anticipated. Intel provides exposure to server CPUs and potential foundry optionality, addressing customers' needs for additional sources of advanced manufacturing supply.
