BlackRock says Bitcoin sentiment is turning, citing healthy decoupling from stocks as a diversifier
BlackRock's Head of Digital Assets Robert Mitchnick stated that Bitcoin's sentiment has noticeably shifted over the past month, with the cryptocurrency decoupling from equities since earlier this year. He highlighted that this decoupling is healthy, supporting the thesis of Bitcoin as a diversifier and potential hedge against portfolio risks. Mitchnick pointed to Bitcoin's outperformance during July's AI stock pullback and strong recent inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs, with U.S. ETFs logging $853.5 million last week, including $693.7 million for BlackRock's IBIT fund.
