According to analysis by The Motley Fool, TSMC (TSMC) and Broadcom (Broadcom), currently valued at $2.2 trillion and $2 trillion respectively, are expected to reach a market capitalization of $3 trillion by the end of 2027. The analysis indicates that both companies are benefiting from the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI). TSMC, as the world's leading logic chip manufacturer, stands to gain from increased AI spending and has already announced an additional $100 billion investment in Arizona, USA. Broadcom's custom AI chip business grew by 143% to $10.8 billion in the second quarter, and its AI semiconductor business revenue is projected to exceed $100 billion next year. These growth trends are expected to drive both companies' market capitalizations to $3 trillion.
