Kraken Institutional supports Lombard's transition to an institutional Bitcoin covered-call strategy managed by Bitwise Asset Management, targeting 2.5% net APY

Lombard is shifting its Bitcoin yield source from staking to this new strategy. The Bitcoin backing the strategy will be held in segregated, bankruptcy-remote accounts at qualified custodians, including Kraken, under tri-party agreements to maintain qualified custody throughout. Kraken will also serve as one of the execution venues for Bitwise's options trading underlying the strategy.
