TCW Concentrated Large Cap Growth Fund listed KLA Corporation (KLAC) as a new holding in its Q2 2026 investor letter, believing the company will benefit from semiconductor chip complexity.
The fund noted that KLA Corporation, as a developer and manufacturer of advanced process control solutions for semiconductor chip manufacturing, produces products that help accelerate chip development and improve yield and quality. As the complexity of semiconductor chips continues to increase, the demand for more advanced inspection systems is accelerating, and TCW believes KLA is well-positioned to benefit from this trend. The fund also favors KLA's competitive position, industry-leading margins, pricing power, and strong track record of returning cash to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases, and believes that the current stock price does not fully reflect its long-term cash flow potential.
