Robinhood's second venture fund, Robinhood Ventures Fund II, debuted on Thursday, raising $225.5 million in its IPO to give retail investors access to early-stage private companies.
The fund will focus on current and former participants in the Y Combinator startup accelerator program, which has financed over 5,000 companies including crypto exchange Coinbase and ChatGPT maker OpenAI. Robinhood listed its first fund, which focuses on late-stage startups, in March.
