CoinDesk's "Advisor Crypto" weekly report analyzes that an increasing number of clients view cryptocurrency as a long-term asset and are incorporating it into their estate planning, but traditional financial advisors have significant gaps in managing these assets. An informal survey showed that nearly half of respondents have included cryptocurrency in their estate planning, but almost none manage their crypto assets through existing wealth advisors. Instead, they prefer to seek "crypto-native" advisors who possess industry expertise, understand privacy concerns, and are proficient in tax and custody matters.
