According to Korean media citing the two companies' H1 2026 semi-annual reports, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix's combined semiconductor facility investment for the first half of the year reached 43.198 trillion Korean won, a 35.1% increase from 31.98 trillion Korean won in the same period last year. Both companies achieved 100% capacity utilization, indicating strong AI memory demand. In terms of customer structure, NVIDIA's share of SK Hynix's revenue decreased from 24% for the full year 2025 to 13.35% and did not appear in Samsung's top five customer list during the same period, reflecting a trend towards diversified and decentralized AI memory demand.
