OceanaGold has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of Ausgold for an equity value of approximately US$549 million (A$776 million). The acquisition will be conducted via a scheme of arrangement approved by the Australian courts and is expected to be completed in December 2026, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
