Qatar rejects Iran's claims of holding three missing pilots, stating Iranian planes violated its sovereignty and were dealt with according to law
Qatar's Foreign Affairs spokesman Majed al-Ansari denied Iran's accusations as "completely baseless, false and illogical," reiterating that Qatar handed over the remains of one pilot in April. Iranian officials had publicly claimed the pilots were secretly detained after their warplanes crashed in March during an Iranian attack on the Al Udeid airbase in Qatar, which hosts US Central Command personnel.
