Singapore's July inflation hits near two-year high at 2.2%, but undershoots economists' 2.3% forecast

Core inflation, excluding private transport and accommodation, rose 2%, missing the 2.2% forecast. The data comes as Singapore upgraded its full-year 2026 GDP growth forecast to 4.5%-5.5%.
