Descartes acquires AI-powered TMS provider Tai for $100 million in cash
The acquisition of California-based Tai, which offers a transportation management system (TMS) for freight brokers, was funded with cash on hand. Descartes stated the deal expands its transportation management capabilities and adds valuable transaction, carrier, and shipment execution data to its Global Logistics Network.
