CME Group announced on August 25 that the first trades of its U.S. Zinc Futures contracts were executed on CME Globex on August 20 by Glencore and Trafigura for September delivery. CME Group had updated its Zinc contract to U.S. duty-paid in March 2026 to address client demand for managing U.S. pricing dynamics amid geopolitical fragmentation.
