Boosted by this news, the company's share price in Hong Kong stocks morning trading once surged over 12%, and the Hang Seng Biotech Index rose over 3%. Previously, JPMorgan Chase increased its holdings in Innovent Biologics by 2.355 million shares on August 20, involving HKD 241 million; Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs also raised the company's target price on August 19 and August 6, respectively, and Nomura analysts pointed out that the company's net profit exceeded expectations.
Innovent Biologics' net profit for the first half of the year increased by 50.2% to RMB 1.253 billion, with its stock price rising over 12% during intraday trading.
