LS Cable & System's Subsidiaries Post Record First-Half Earnings Driven by AI Infrastructure Boom
Three major LS Cable & System subsidiaries, Gaon Cable, LS Eco Energy, and LS Marine Solution, generated combined revenue of $1.75 billion (2.42 trillion won) and operating profit of 119.7 billion won in the January-June period. The record performance was fueled by increased demand for cables, bus ducts, and subsea infrastructure due to investments in AI data centers and power grids. Gaon Cable's consolidated revenue rose 27.3% to 1.63 trillion won, with operating profit jumping 41.8%.
