Analysis indicates that ASML is poised to be the biggest winner in the AI memory boom, with memory-related system sales projected to grow by 75% in 2026.
The Motley Fool's analysis suggests that ASML Holding (ASML), a Dutch semiconductor equipment manufacturer, is poised to be the biggest winner in the AI-driven memory market. ASML management noted in their July earnings call that memory business contributed 49% of Q2 system sales and projected a 75% increase in memory-related net system sales by 2026. Furthermore, Deloitte estimates that major memory manufacturers' capital expenditures could rise by 67% to $97 billion this year, with a further 50% increase to $146 billion expected by 2027. ASML is the sole supplier of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines, which are crucial for manufacturing advanced memory chips, giving it a pricing advantage in the market.
