Lawrence Ho's family office, Black Spade Capital, announced the completion of its third de-SPAC transaction by merging with satellite communications company Astrum Space, marking its entry into the space technology sector. Under the agreement, Singapore-based Astrum Space will merge with the blank-check company Black Spade Acquisition III (BIII) at an equity valuation of approximately $1 billion. The combined entity, Astrum Space Company, will seek to list on the New York Stock Exchange.
