SentinelOne (S) stock fell 8% to $20.94, as a cut in its full-year profit outlook overshadowed revenue benefits, dragging CrowdStrike (CRWD) down 7%.
SentinelOne announced second-quarter revenue of $292 million, exceeding analysts' expectations of $290.2 million, a year-over-year increase of 20.6%. However, the company lowered its full-year adjusted EPS guidance by 11.4% to $0.31 (midpoint), which drew more attention from investors. Affected by this, the cybersecurity sector generally came under pressure, with the First Trust NASDAQ Cybersecurity ETF (CIBR) falling by 0.7%.
