Helcim, a Calgary-based payments company, has raised CAD 53 million (approximately USD 38.28 million) in a Series C funding round led by BDC Capital's Growth Venture Co-investment Fund. This funding round values Helcim at CAD 250 million (approximately USD 180.55 million). The company's total equity funding has reached CAD 100 million since its Series A round in 2022. Helcim provides point-of-sale, invoicing, online checkout, smart terminals, and embedded payment tools to over 22,000 active merchants in North America, with annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding CAD 150 million in the past year, and its workforce has grown to 200 employees.
