First Phosphate Plans to Initiate Feasibility Study Soon After Resource Update and Nasdaq Listing
First Phosphate CEO John Passalacqua stated that the company updated the mineral resource estimate for its Bégin-Lamarche project earlier this week, showing a significant increase in indicated resources. Combined with its recent Nasdaq listing and available funds exceeding $50 million, the company is confident in initiating a feasibility study as soon as possible. The study is expected to be released by late 2026 or early 2027, with plans to complete permitting and investment decisions by the end of 2027. The company currently holds over $30 million in funds and has secured an additional $21.5 million in grants from the Canadian government for road infrastructure and power line construction.
