Alexander Treves, Managing Director and Head of Investments at JPMorgan Chase Asset Management, stated that for the South Korean market to attract more sustained capital inflows, it needs broader earnings growth in sectors such as non-memory chip technology, industrials, financials, and consumer goods. This would lead to a "Korea rally" rather than just a "memory chip rally," and drive an increase in overall trading volume.
