Bank Indonesia and the Monetary Authority of Singapore Operationalise Local Currency Transaction Framework for Bilateral Trade Transactions
The LCT Framework will support bilateral trade and contribute to ASEAN financial integration efforts by promoting the wider use of local currencies in intra-ASEAN transactions. It aims to provide businesses with greater flexibility, reduce exchange rate risks and costs, and promotes direct quotations between the Indonesian Rupiah and Singapore Dollar.
